life skills manual

$55.00

The intent of this manual is to present Life Skill and Child/Youth Care Workers with ideas and plans for meeting contract goals for people we support. Skill sets covered include communication and social skills, money skills, transportation skills, personal and self-help skills, as well as skills related to the home environment. It is not meant to be an exhaustive step-by-step program that must be followed in consecutive order, but rather a guide to aid in planning overall activities to reach identified objectives.

Purchase notes: This is a downloadable PDF product. Purchase includes both the manual and the handouts. After purchase, you will receive links to download both PDFs included in this product.

The NSDRC was started by a group of families in 1976. In the years since, we have worked for a "Community for All" by developing and providing community housing, infant development programs, youth groups, community-based services, and information and advocacy.

We are grateful for the opportunity to work, live and play on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
