Celebrating 50 Years Together: NSDRC Anniversary BBQ
This year marks an incredible milestone—50 years of NSDRC supporting people with disabilities and their families.
Earlier this year we celebrated with the community at our 50th Anniversary Gala. Last week participants, families, caregivers, staff and board members gathered at beautiful Cates Park/Whey-ah-Wichen for our 50th Anniversary BBQ. The turnout was amazing, and the day was filled with smiles, laughter, connection, and community spirit.
Face painting was a huge hit, and attendees enjoyed coming together to celebrate not only our history but also the relationships and sense of belonging that make NSDRC so special.
Looking around the park and seeing so many people connected through NSDRC was a powerful reminder of what community inclusion looks like in action.
